I can't believe it's been over a month since I blogged. I have been doing meal plans, but I've not got around to committing it to paper. It's been insanely busy - end of year to manage at work, a big fundraiser, a trip away, all sorts of things happening with the kids, you name it, we've had it.
I'm even late for Monday but I did actually do the meal plan on Saturday before a trip to the supermarket, in an effort to get myself sorted for this week. The children are off school and I'm off work. We've still got lots of things on but it's a bit more relaxed. Today has been a day doing stuff in the garden and I made stovies from leftover roast beef. On Tuesday, Missy is off to a party so we are not doing much teawise, and on Thursday, I'm taking the children on the train to Edinburgh so there will be no cooking at all. Monkey is off to his second party of the week on Saturday. (He went to one last Saturday).
This is the rest of our week.
Tuesday - pasta
Wednesday - Chicken and mango pilau
Thursday - no cooking
Friday - Italian pork burgers with tomato salsa and sweet potato chip
Saturday - Chicken drumsticks, corn on the cob, coleslaw, baked potato
Sunday - Roast chicken
